Tuesday was my first day back to work after Christmas. It strangely reminded me of High School. Here’s why…
- I wore one of my Christmas gifts which I always rushed to do on my first day back to school after Christmas. Oooh the excitement.
- I consulted YYZ for style advice. Luckily, this year, I could do it in person. She left that day – but not before she consulted on shoe choice. Thanks YYZ!
As you’ll see I was very lucky this Christmas. I got a funky new bracelet. That baby is thanks to YYZ and some fun pillows from J. The pillow’s in the shot only to hide the damage from our 11 days of over-indulgence.

Earrings: hoops from Aldo (cheapos)
Pillow: from J purchased at the East London Design Show ( NB: Hoxton & Shoreditch are closest stops to our home )

That is one kick-ass outfit! I am not sure I appreciated it fully on Tuesday (as I raced around in my rumpled denim bag-dress, trying to fit everything into my luggage and not leave anything behind….). Those shoes are perfect with it!
