I’ve worked on reducing my wardrobe and encouraging recyling by giving to others here and here. However, today’s post I’m going to talk about my own ability to REUSE pieces from the past in a new ensemble
I wore the earrings here, shirt here, a shorter version of these shorts here (scroll down), and the shoes here. The ring (is a little gifty from YYZ) and has been worn many times before but it appears this is its first appearance in this blog. Yay!
What I wore:
Shoes: Winners
Shorts: Van Heusen (bought in SF last year)
Shirt: Silk Tank Top, Zara (actually bought for a wedding about 3 years ago)
Earrings: New York
Ring: Wood prezzie from YYZ
PS Clearly, I took these shots at end of day – wrinkles, lack of make-up etc.
I love it! How do you DO it? Manage to look like a grown-up and yet still a FUNKY grown-up? When I dress like a grown-up, I just look so boring and stuffy and preppy and dull, dull, dull. I love this outfit– you need to keep it in the rotation.
I had fully intended to post today– after all, it is D (as-in-DONE!) Day– but by the time I got home, I was sooo wrinkled and frumpy and sweaty and my hair was all frizzy from the humidity that I didn’t do it. Not that you missed anything– I basically wore a housedress and my Faux-kenstocks (of course) and felt chubbo and gross all day. Can’t wait to get into some OTHER shoes! 🙂
I am raising a glass to you, LHR– soon, we will be doing it together, first here, then chez toi!
Whaatever! I could send you a 1000000 links where you look fabolicious – funky and grown-up.
I agree with YYZ that this is one fabulous outfit. I love the neutral yet jazzy tones. It is both sophisticated and whimsical. I love the scarf. I love that your upper arms and legs look about 21 years old. I hate that mine do not, but this is YOUR blog so hey– flaunt it!! There is no way that YYZ looked “chubbo” today, but commenting on a comment is a little de trop for interlopers, no? I am jealous beyond measure that you two get to hang out together and exchange funky gifts. 😉
Thanks Daph. It’s actually not a scarf. The top ties at the neck i.e. it’s built in. The other time I wore this shirt (at least in the blog) I have it tied slightly different.
Lisa,
I want my Farrah Fawcett poster BACK!!!! 🙂

MORRIS!!!! Craziness. I’ve just sent you an email to the email on your website. The interweb is a crazy place.
